Saturday, April 26th - Washington, NC Marine Market

My friend, Becky Foster, made this and other windows to sale at Marine Marine in Washington, NC tomorrow.

Embroidery that goes on a little table that I have for sale tomorrow, too

Another view of table.

Thought you may enjoy a look at my yard this time of the year.  We have a corner lot, so lots of folks get to see our azaleas in bloom.

Flowering vine

Dogwood, of course!

Changing subjects - my daughter and her daughter were baptized (immersed) last Sunday (Easter) at church.  Picture of them after church along with my son-in-law.

A Finished Project!

This is a little pillow that I made.  I did the cross stitch on linen (spaced it as I went along - no pattern.)  Then, I created the block and added the sailboat made of felted wool.  Really like the fabric I used at the sea and wish I had more of it as I like the movement of the little blocks on the blue!  It was fun to make and I am glad it turned out ok.  When I freehand something, I never know what it will look like:)

This is a Great Week!!!

Today is my wonderful daughter, Heather's, birthday.  Yesterday was her husband, Anthony's, birthday.

Yesterday, I went to see their daughter, play softball.  She is currently playing shortstop for her school team.  She made some great defensive plays, and her hitting was awesome!  In the second inning, she hit an in-field homerun and then got a double in the same game.

Also, it has finally turned SPRING here in eastern NC!
